I started chess later in life, so I tend to have little time or patience for bad learning tools.

This is a comprehensive set of videos made by a dynamic and easy to watch GM about all the "foundation" openings.

Dereque clearly loves the game and obviously knows it very well.

Unlike droning GMs from Eastern Europe starting all their sentences with "obviously now..." when things are not obvious, etc., Dereque talks with phrases like "watch out for" and "here we notice that..."

This friendly video package is worthwhile and entertaining.
