Chess Openings

This is a terrific tool to learn the openings. For starters ....beautiful production qualities. But the best part is the chess --- great presentation of the key ideas and main lines of each opening. The scripts show an excellent use of instructional design and there is good use of visuals (e.g lines and highlighted squares) to reinforce concepts. At times the discussion moves a bit too fast for beginners (like me) but this is not a problem as it will be profitable to re-watch these videos many times to re-force the content. As one who grew up slogging through books (in the 70s) ---- this video series featuring Mr. Kelly is an engaging and effective tool. Highly recommended.
